Description

We are currently recruiting a Wedding and Events Co-ordinator for our client, a luxury 4 star wedding hotel in the Monaghan/Cavan area. The candidate must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role within a luxury four or five star hotel.

Candidate Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an understanding and experience of working with the planning & delivery of high end weddings and events.
The candidate will be required to communicate all requirements of weddings/events through to all departments within the hotel.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, customer focused and friendly, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Possess the ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Responsible for meeting and showing potential couples and clients around the property.
The candidate will be able to understand and identify up-selling opportunities
Must follow the hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures, and ensures that all requests are dealt with in a timely manner and according to policy and the standards.
Work with the Sales Manager to actively engage with existing, potential and new clients at all times.
Must have excellent presentation skills and attention to detail.
Attention to detail is paramount within this role.

Role Requirements:

Demonstrate excellent communication skills with hands on approach.
Flexibility and the ability to innovate.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
Have a confident, professional and welcoming personality
Be immaculately presented.
Working knowledge of Opera/Hotsoft or similar.

Hours of work:
Will generally be 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, additional evening and weekend work will be required as per business demands.

Salary: 
Will be depending of experience up to €30k (for the right candidate) with additional perks and benefits, including  discounted spa rates & gym membership & more.

Relocation:
If required the hotel will assist with sourcing accommodation at candidates own cost.

Candidates must have a proven experience within a 4 or 5 star hotel events sales team.
